Well, despite the Christmas holidays, despite a dislocated toe, man-flu, and that virus that caused unamusing stomach upsets, I have actually made some progress. I have to admit that it's quite a lot less than I hoped, but you know what they say "Rome wasn't burnt in a day" !

Here's a couple of pictures of the reconditioned engine head now all the bits and pieces have been reassembled - quite pleased with it all in all. It's shiny!
I'm currently working on the dirty job of cleaning down the engine-block itself. Got it about half-done, then it's just (ha ha) a case of painting it, re-assembling it and then popping the head back on.
